The universal water thermostat — a reductase unit of UTR-24 type — is designed for use in laboratory analyses in various fields and industries. By its design features, it offers maximum compliance with the requirements of medicine, milk, and other branches of the foods and reprocessing industry, veterinary, agriculture, etc.
UTR-24 can be used in laboratory analyses for keeping temperature of samples within the range from the room temperature up to 95 °C at ±1°С precision.
UTR-24 can be used in medicine, in milk, bread-baking, confectionery, fish, meat, and other branches of food industry, agriculture in compliance with the industry standards for conducting analyses.
UTR-24 is designed for operation in laboratory conditions at ambient temperatures within +10 to 40 °C and the relative humidity no more than 80% at +25°С with no vapours of aggressive liquids and gases in the air.
UTR-24 is not a measurement instrument and is not subject to the official verification.
UTR-24 comprises a rectangular stainless steel bath and a control unit under the bath. There are following items on the front panel of the unit: a display of the microprocessor-controlled temperature regulator with an integrated electronic timer, and a two-key switch. The right-hand key of the switch is used to power on the instrument, the left-hand one is used to turn on heating. there is a fuse on the rear panel. A tripod for test tubes and butyrometers is placed inside the bath and can be easily withdrawn. The tripod comprises two U-shaped inserts resting upon the bath bottom, and a plate with holes of 17 mm in diameter which is used for heating test tubes (a reductase sample). During the heating of butyrometers or wide test tubes, this plate is removed. If necessary, the tripod with test tubes or butyrometers can be removed out of the thermostat bath using side handles. The tripod is designed to hold 24 milk or cream butyrometers of 16 to 24 mm in diameter, as well as 2−4 flasks depending on their diameter.
The delivery set includes a tripod for 24 test tubes.
