Easy to use and inexpensive dosimeter is convenient in running radiation inspections. The measurement result and its error are displayed continuously from the measurements start and are continuously refined. Due to its audio signalization, the dosimeter can be also used for express estimation of radiation environment.Radiation environment is estimated by audio signals (clicks) with the frequency value proportional to the dose rate. In case of an essential change in the radiation environment during the measurement, an indication of a static error is displayed and the device is automatically re-started.The device is powered by two АА batteries.
